The Pure Storage platform has introduced, a new standard for us as an organization as far as the resiliency and performance that we're looking for. We are Oregon's largest, private nonprofit healthcare system, so data is incredibly important to our organization, and quick access to that data is, you know, top of mind for every physician.

sufficient to support the next round of upgrades coming. We made the choice to go, back to Epic's recommended platform for the operational database, which was, VMware ESXi. And we made that decision two weeks prior to Broadcom's announcement of the acquisition of VMware.

And we were incredibly disappointed when over the course of four months we were unable to get licensing. So we went back to the drawing board. We met with Epic in person with Nutanix and started to talk about something that Epic had been testing a little bit internally and something that I've been very interested in, which was NVMe over TCP.

And a number of things kind of all aligned. Pure released, their iteration, in support of NVMe over TCP, and this allowed us to take a virtual machine running on Nutanix and connect it to Pure Storage using NVMe over TCP. This was a, a theory at best when we started.

We were able to build kind of the first iteration and, Nutanix and Pure Storage and, you know, everyone involved, right? We had some fantastic results, and it blew everyone's mind. One of the biggest benefits from this process that we just went through was we're now on a seamless platform.
